Special congrats to Rosie for winning the ladies kumite! And to Matt Foster for getting silver in the junior kata. Massive bunch of bronze medals to Rosie, Kat, Kate, Karen, Graham, Tim, Kerry (4 medals!). Tyrone and Steve performed well in some tough categories.
Having returned fitter, stronger and with more karate knowledge than they left with! It’s great to be back – we’re all looking forward to doing it again next year now!
Kata tournament on Thursday went well….

Our University Team Kata made up of Tyrone Robinson, Timothy Hudson and Kerry Thomas, who won 4th place in the Mixed Team Kata event.
Congratulations and well done to those who tried out for the KUGB Welsh Squad selections in January. Selections were as follows: Kerry Lyn Thomas – Kata Squad. Steven Bailey – Kata Squad. All have trained particularly hard leading up to the selections and showed considerable skill and martial attitude.
